Surface Wipes
These DIY Surface wipes are so handy. Use them in the kitchen, bathroom - or wherever you want really! You can choose to make them disposable wipes, or wipes you can wash and reuse. Use a quality paper towel roll or reusable wipes like Chux or facewashers. If using paper towel, be sure to use a sturdy, thick product so it will hold up to sitting in the cleaning solution and scrubbing as you clean. I like to use the Tuffy brand sold at Woolworths.Keep them stored in an airtight container and use whenever you need them!

If using reusable wipes, fold them in an accordion style and then roll the stack so you can pull from the centre and the next wipe will pull out enough be ready for next time)
- Put the paper towel roll or rolled up reusable wipes in the Wipes Container and pour on liquid
- Put on the lid. The cleaning solution will work its way up the paper towels or wipes on its own through capillary action

Notes
I prefer using water from the kettle that has been boiled rather than distilled water. If it's still a bit warm, it helps the washing soda dissolve. Just be sure to let it cool before adding it to the Wipes Container.
Using water from the kettle that has been boiled also saves you money, a trip to the supermarket, and puts less plastic in our environment!

I’ve struggled to get the oily residue off from around the cupboards near the range hood. I’ve tried lots of products from the supermarket that state they will remove it – but they never do. Today, I tried your recipe! BLOWN AWAY! These are absolutely magnificent! There was no scrubbing required, just a little elbow grease but barely any!
I HIGHLY recommend that try this recipe! I doubt very much that you’ll be sorry you did!
And it doesn’t take long to make either!
Ah yes – the old ‘Rangehood grease’…ugh….What a perfect way to use these wipes! The oils really help to shift the grease don’t they?
