Fractionated Coconut Oil (also known as FCO) stays in liquid form at all temperatures. The Coconut Oil which you usually use in cooking (and some DIY) stays solid at lower temperatures. Fractionated Coconut Oil is also ultra lightweight and easily absorbed. It won’t leave a greasy feeling on your skin, or stain your clothes or linen. This makes it a fantastic carrier for essential oils, and a common ingredient in many DIY products. Note: Be aware of commercial or MCT oils found in the supermarket cooking oil shelf – these are often not sustainably sourced from palm (not coconut) and are an inferior product not recommended for use as a carrier oil or ingredient in your DIY products.
Used for:
- Diluting your essential oils to apply topically
- Super stable with an indefinite shelf life
- Non-greasy and easily absorbed
- Sustainably sourced
